Leadership

John Myer is a native of Louisiana who moved to Ohio back in the mid-eighties (his accent has yet to completely disappear). He has crisscrossed the globe on ministry adventures from Africa to the Far East and has been involved in everything from church leadership, church planting, and conference preaching, to campus work and long-term ministry training events. Now John brings his experience to bear in planting and leading Hilliard Christian Assembly.

John has been married for over 30 years to Aleisha, who also hails from his tiny Louisiana hometown and perfectly understands his occasional use of “ya’ll” and his infrequent craving for gumbo. John and Aleisha have an adult daughter.

In addition to his ministry training, John has a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and a Master’s Degree in Theological Studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. His personal ministry websites are JohnMyer.com and  Gospel Outfitters.

Jeff Friess was involved in full-time ministry from 2001-2009 where he cofounded two churches, Oasis Christian Community, and Hilliard Christian Assembly where he now serves as an elder, providing assistant pastoral duties.  

Jeff has been married for 20 years, to Natalie who is a registered nurse. They have three children—Bella, Joe, and Ben. He works as an Executive Recruiter and has a Bachelor’s of Science in Human Resource Management.  Outside of church and work Jeff & Natalie are busy with kids' sports activities that include football, wrestling and beach volleyball.   

Seth Evans served in full-time ministry at the Ohio State University starting in 2003, co-founding Oasis Christian Community and later Hilliard Christian Assembly. He now serves in a bi-vocational capacity with executive pastoral roles at Hilliard Christian Assembly.

Seth is married to Rebecca, a high school English teacher and they have two children together. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He currently practices as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with CornerStone Family Services. Seth’s passion for a good cup of black coffee has caused him to be known by name at the local coffee shop.

Michael Taylor serves as an elder and small group leader with Hilliard Christian Assembly. He works in the financial world for a local business in Columbus. He assists with the finances of the church.

Michael is married to Delana and they have two children - Gideon and Naomi. Unlike the other elders of the church, Michael does not drink coffee.

Greg and Stef Wyatt are the point-people for our kids church team. They have three children together and have a heart to see all children grow in the Lord knowing the Scriptures from a young age (while also having fun).

Zach Sjsotrom is one of our leaders of our musical worship team. He is married to Keiko who is a high school teacher in the Columbus area.

Allyson Fronk is one of our leaders of our musical worship team. She is married to Corey who works in the world of finances. Together they have two children.
